Cod liver oil

Produced in Grindavík since 2015, from liver landed directly by fishing boats and trimmings from canning factories.

The liver is a by-product of the same catch that gives us heads and bones. Rather than letting it go to waste, we process it into cod liver oil at our plant in Grindavík. The liver comes straight from the boats, and we also take trimmings from canning factories.

We produce up to 1,000 MT of cod liver oil a year.
